As a class we will be exploring the Prophetic Books of the Hebrew Scriptures. Many of these stories are complex and hard to follow. Your job, with your partner(s), is to come to a deep understanding of your prophet, their message, and the world they inhabit in order to simplify the story enough to make it readily understandable to a child.
Yes! You are going to turn their book into a multipe-page children’s picture book. Some of the messages are mature, and those will remain, but the tone and comprehension level should be aimed for a child of 6-9 years old.
